Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram, recently launched an AI assistant called Muse. An AI assistant is a computer program designed to help you with tasks like answering questions or drafting messages. People have been downloading Muse at a rapid pace, which is great news for Mark Zuckerberg, Meta's CEO. However, simply having people download an app is not the same as having them actually use it day after day.
The harder part for Meta now is turning Muse into something people can't imagine living without. Getting someone to download an app is relatively easy—a viral moment on social media or good reviews can drive millions of downloads. But making people come back to use that app every single day is much tougher. Meta needs users to integrate Muse into their regular routines, whether that's for work, creative projects, or daily problem-solving. Success means Muse becomes as natural to reach for as checking your email or scrolling through Instagram.
